SSL was contracted by the United Nations to construct the UNMIS Peacekeeper Camp in Rumbek to house 600 peacekeepers. We cleared the 120,000m2 site, prepared the roads, built the hardstands, the sceptic tanks, fenced in the site and completed the ablution blocks, access roads and security fencing. This project, budgeted at US$855,773, was completed in August 2006.
